Nucleus Middleware
Nucleus USB includes Nucleus
middleware components for Nucleus USB class
drivers to be easily integrated with Nucleus
real-time application software. As an example, as
Nucleus USB brings true plug-n-play (hot-swapping)
capability to Nucleus middleware drivers, a
Nucleus FILE middleware can be automatically
configured at runtime to allow users to access
files on any commercial USB hard drive using
Nucleus FILE. The Nucleus FILE USB driver uses the
Nucleus USB mass storage class driver.
For each middleware or application
component in your system that needs to access USB,
it is recommended to have a Nucleus middleware or
application driver. You can also write your own
drivers with relative ease by leveraging a wealth
of Nucleus base middleware driver functionality
included with every copy of Nucleus USB.
